Lancaster County Career & Technology Center: “How separate should the brands for our adult ed and high school programs be?”
Our team: “First of all, let’s not call it adult ed. Second of all, you don’t need two separate brands. You need to set the record straight on technical education—because it’s perceived as an option for students who couldn’t cut it at college.”
The message from most career and technical colleges is something along the lines of “Even if you’re not college material, you can still make a decent living.”
But when we interviewed and surveyed actual students, they told us about the pride they felt, the interests they had, and the skills they were learning first-hand.
The Lancaster County Career & Technology Center isn’t the easy way out. It’s education for the doers.
